John W. Francis, known in the franchise industry as "Johnny Franchise," is a franchise advisor, board member, consultant and speaker who works through Next Level Franchise, Inc. and moderates mastermind groups for franchisor and supplier executives. He grew up in his family's business, The Barbers, Inc., the franchisor of Cost Cutters, City Looks and We Care Hair, and played a role in its 1999 sale to Regis Corporation; he later spent roughly a decade as a PostNet area franchisee and developer and served as the brand's Strategic Business Advisor. He sits on the Sport Clips Haircuts board of directors and on advisory boards including Big Frog Franchise Group, DreamMaker Bath & Kitchen, Just Between Friends, Wisdom Senior Care, DivaDance and Nautical Bowls, and is a past member of the International Franchise Association board of directors.
